Indian Idol 11 winner Sunny Hindustani would have never imagined how his life would change in just days. As Sunny Hindustani bagged the winner trophy along with the prize money of Rs 25 Lakh, it’s not all that he will be taking home. Sunny won the hearts of his fans and is a true inspiration for everyone around the country. The singer rose to fame after his video was shared by Anand Mahindra on his Twitter. Anand Mahindra shared a video from Sunny’s audition clip, later everything is history after he gained his popularity.
In the audition video, when asked by judge Neha Kakkar about what he does for a living, Sunny Hindustani shared that he is a shoeshiner while his mother sells balloons in Punjab. He added, “It would hurt me so much to watch my mother beg people for rice,” and shared how it would hurt him to watch his mother beg for rice. Sunny also shared how he would sing while shining shoes and said, “I would sing while shining shoes and always thought to myself that I will make something of myself.”
